Superb GCSE results at St Bede’s!

St Bede’s Year 11 students have achieved superb GCSE results this summer. The school has achieved its best ever results in many subjects including in maths and science. St Bede’s has achieved far better outcomes compared with 2019 results which is a brilliant achievement. I am immensely proud of every student within this year group and they have displayed our school values of determination and excellence in abundance.

Our headline figures include 92% of students achieving a grade 4 or above in English and 94% achieving the same in maths. Almost 40% of results achieved by our students this summer were the top grades of 9-7.  Results right across the curriculum are fantastic. Year 11 thoroughly deserve this success and despite all the challenges which they have experienced they have achieved some of the best ever GCSE results in the school’s history.  

I would like to congratulate Year 11 on their GCSE success this summer as well as recognise each and every teacher who went above and beyond to support students and ultimately help them achieve these fantastic results. St Bede’s will continue to provide support for those students who need further help and advice. 

Ms Sharp, Mr Blount and I are delighted with the achievements of our students and we wish to acknowledge all the hard work that they have put into their studies over the last two years. We cannot wait to see the majority of the year group next week at our Year 12 Enrolment Day into the Sixth Form!
