Incredible pride at St Bede’s!

We are incredibly proud of the results our sixth form students achieved in this summer’s A level and Cambridge Technical awards. From the moment this year group joined the Sixth Form at St Bede’s to their very last day they worked extremely hard. I am so pleased that they have fulfilled their potential and have achieved so well. Every single student in Year 13 deserves this success and I have every confidence that they will now go onto further success whichever pathway they choose.  

The fantastic results achieved this summer demonstrates the character and determination of this year group. From raising the most amount of money for RAG Week to now achieving these excellent outcomes Year 13 have done the sixth form proud. Students and staff have worked tirelessly together to achieve these results and I want to thank teachers, the sixth form team and support staff for all that they did to help Year 13 throughout the last two years.  

Mrs Woodroofe, Ms Fleming-Wall and I are delighted that so many students have yet again been allocated their first choice university. We have large numbers of students going to fantastic universities up and down the country to study an array of different interesting courses. We also have several students going onto exciting apprenticeship courses which demonstrates the success that these students have achieved this year. For any student who needs support or further guidance with their next steps including UCAS offers then Mrs Woodroofe and our examinations team are on hand to help.  

Well done Year 13! We are all very proud of you.
