SES Water have given us advanced notice of roadworks taking place nearby which may affect your journey to school. Please plan your journey to allow for this.

They have provided the following information:

• The road closure will be put in place from Monday 6 January 2025 and be in place until end of May 2025.
• Towards the end of the scheme, works will briefly impact the junction of Colesmead with Gatton Park Road.
• Our teams will be working between the hours of Monday to Saturday, 7.00am to 5.00pm.
• The road closure will be from the junction where Colesmead Road meets Gatton Park Road, through to where Carlton Road meets Gatton Park Road. A diversion route will also be in place (please see map below). We are obligated by law to provide a diversion route which Heavy Goods Vehicles can use but we of course appreciate smaller vehicles will likely use alternative, local routes.
• Access to the closed section of road will still be provided to residents, pedestrians and cyclists (although cyclists will be requested to dismount when passing through).
• Buses will be required to follow the same diversion route as advertised.
